P is for Pretty!

P is for Pretty!

Here's a lovely sentiment:

I was featured in the HappyFlower daily!
Here's a lovely Arthur Rackham illustration that she linked to:

Serpentine (Fairies Along the Water) from Peter Pan in Kensington

And here's something I should really post on the knitting blog, but... it's history!

Do you have any hand-me-downs that old?

I want to sit by a stream today.

Very pretty indeed. And yes, near a stream we should just sit quietly.

I don't think I have any hand me downs. I have some concert t-shirts that are almost thirty-five years old though.

BEAUTIFUL Sweater!

Could you imagine the work involved to knit that intricate a pattern? Just gorgeous.. Enjoy it!

Yeah, that's good advice about the stream, hmm. The Red Hill Creek should be running - but they built a highway next to it, so it's impossible to hear the water. :(

Loved the first picture. I grew up with a creek in my back yard and I miss the sound of running water so much. It took me a long time to be able to go to sleep without it. I love, love, love streams and creeks and brooks. And you know what? Most of my novels have involved water in a major way. At least the novels that made it past 10K

Clothes 40 years old! hahahaha. I'm laughing cause I was a teenager that many years ago. The Mama still has some of the dresses she sewed for me when I was a toddler. :-)

Thanks everyone!
I wish it was warm enough to sit outside... I won't complain though because we've had sunshine and blue skies for three days now!

I'm with you, Sara - I'm so used to being near the sea that I miss it when I'm away. And all my stories seem to involve the sea somehow!
