doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have
been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for
insecure writers of all kinds!
Posting: The
first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Post
your thoughts on your own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you'veconquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs. Offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling. Visit others in the group and connect with your fellow writer - aim for a dozen new people each time - and eturn comments. This group is all about connecting!

Our Twitter handle is @TheIWSG and hashtag is #IWSG. The awesome co-hosts for the August 2 posting of the IWSG are Kate Larkinsdale, Diane Burton, Janet Alcorn, and Shannon Lawrence!
Every month, we announce a question that members can answer in their IWSG post. These questions may prompt you to share advice, insight, a personal experience or story. Include your answer to the question in your IWSG post or let it inspire your post if you are struggling with something to say. Remember, the question is optional!
August 2 question: Have you ever written something that afterwards you felt conflicted about? If so, did you let it stay how it was, take it out, or rewrite it?
Let’s rock the neurotic writing world!
Ooh, great question!
It hasn't happened to me often but whenever it does, especially if it could be hurtful, I try to get over the thoughts of "I'm horrible!" because it's not about me as a person, just the words on the page, and I go back and revise.
In other news, I visited Zurich for the first time a couple of weeks ago! I still haven't fully sorted through the photos, but here's me rereading the story 'A Little Cloud' (because it's sort of about expats) at James Joyce's grave.
Which new-to-you city have you visited recently?
