appy blogging to all of you doing the Blogging from A to Z Challenge ! I think this is Hodge Podge No. 11. I collated the previous 10 hodge podge posts , and I'm pretty sure I haven't posted any others since. Round 2 of A Round of Words in 80 Days started on 6 April! My main goal this round is to do CampNaNo -- and to keep writing (or editing) afterwards)! I may also try submitting Druid's Moon somewhere once again... The Decorah eagles webcams are back on the Raptor Resource page ! RIP Jack Whyte RIP Lawrence Ferlinghetti and RIP Beverly Cleary I first found out through the Editors' Association of Earth group. Here is something I shared last spring on a group page a friend started on the pandemic: I'm not very good about keeping a coherent narrative together, but I felt very blessed by something that happened this weekend. This us how I shared it on author Beverly Cleary's wall: Thinking of the importance of art and telling stories, espe

ver 10 years ago, I posted a reading questionnaire as part of a blog hop for Linda Gerber . About time to revisit it, I thought! Only a few of the answers have remained unchanged... 1. Favourite childhood book? Turkish fairy tales and folk tales. Also all the MG and YA ! 2. What are you reading right now? The great Agatha Christie reread ! 3. What a difference a decade makes... 7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once? Many at once! 8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog? Yes! I never used to read on an e-reader and now I read on the Kindle app;

t's Insecure Writer's Support Group Day! April 7th's question, if you'd like to answer it, is: Are you a risk-taker when writing? Do you try something radically different in style/POV/etc. or add controversial topics to your work? Sometimes, is the short answer! I do try different POVs and styles, but don't approach many controversial topics. I would definitely like to try a few different forms in future, such as telling a story entirely through one person's thoughts, or a murder mystery that works backwards, or a family saga that covers many generations and decades!   Thanks to our awesome co-hosts for the April 7 posting of the IWSG!   PK Hrezo , Pat Garcia , SE White , Lisa Buie Collard , and Diane Burton ! Kait Nolan has a new book out! The prequel, Bad Case of Loving You , was recently released, and now the full novel is out! Made for Loving You A wounded warrior After the catastrophic loss of his best friend in battle, Army Ranger Tyson Brooks trades
