And Zurich too!

Knitting in the car, visiting James Joyce-related sites, a hall decorated by Giacometti (I love the mural of the astronomer especially. It feels like being inside a story!, the Swiss National Museum...

Then the overnight train from Zurich to Prague! An art exhibition at the train station, travelling through Germany...

One of our first stops in Prague was the museum of film and TV models!

What kinds of artefacts do they have in your rural/town/city/shire/state/province/canton/national museum?

Hi Deniz - you certainly saw many many items and places - opening the kids' eyes to history, art, culture, travel. When I went to Prague in the early 1970s it was covered in plastic, after the invasion ... and I was scared - Eastern Europe - I was going on to Brno to a sales event for sales into Eastern Europe. Interesting times - cheers Hilary

Oh, that's fascinating, Hilary! It's always interesting to see the changes over the decades. If we'd been there longer, it would have been good to talk with some older locals!
