Travel in 2021 Roundup: Switzerland!

T

ravel photos!

All of our travel last year was local, except for the one weekend I spent in Montreal.

But my first post last year was the last in a series of photos of previous trips in England (we haven't been back since August 2019!).

After that I shared these photos and places:

Geneva

Whitepod hotel in the mountains of Valais

Montreux and Charlie Chaplin's house

Basel Zoo

One of our last excursions was to the Garenne Zoo, our local rescued animal zoo, which we've been to a few times before:

This small cabin is built around the trunk of the tree, so that the tree comes up through the floor, and goes on up through a hole in the roof.
Basically, when you're standing inside, it's just like being on a flet in Lothlorien!

And more photos taken by my daughter!:

Three-week-old faun, still bearing spots!

Where have you travelled to in your neighbourhood?
