A Little Bird Told Me...

Outlander Challenge

An Echo in the Bone is coming... I started re-reading the series for the fourth or fifth time (I've lost count - the only other books I've done that with besides The Lord of the Rings and my Canadian YA favourites). Then today I found the Outlander Challenge ! Sign up here .

Uh-oh...

I've put off writing the last few scenes and rereading the entire MS of The Face of A Lion - it's been two weeks and I've been busy reading and knitting (two moms-to-be to knit for!), but the trouble with leaving Austin and Kedi alone for a little while is that all those new ideas I was quelling have begun to resurface. I find myself wandering through unknown territory... Spain, 1492... I won't start research until I have at least a handful of solid scenes, however. I've always believed that the ideas and inventions should come first, and that too much research early on will taint your writing. What do you think?

My New Knitting Blog!

Check it out ! And send me photos of your knitting if you'd like to be featured on it!
