I've got a yummy recipe coming up on Pots and Plots.

As for Out of the Water - third round of edits is done! I printed the colour coded version yesterday... blue for n dashes, green for ellipses (since I use too many of both), pink for all the missing scene links and yellow for square brackets enclosing research-requiring bits. There's a rainbow of work to be done!

I can't believe how many scenes are still missing. And I'm at 148,000 words - need to cull at least 20,000 from that.

I hope cutting your ms is not too painful. But how wonderful to have something to cut! Congratulations on all your extra-curricular writerly activities as well. I'll have to check out the pots and plots recipe.

I ended up being overwhelmed by homework and a weird stomach bug yesterday -- so poor Lord John had to wait (poor LJ? poor me!). Definitely planning to hit him up this weekend though. [g]

So happy for you that you are filling in the blanks in OUT OF THE WATER. Don't forget us snippet-hungry lit-nerds when the mood strikes you. [g]
