New MG Story! and Photos of the Final Snow in Montreal

Look! A fun new book by Alan Silberberg!

I read Silberberg's cute and funny Milo: Sticky Notes and Brain Freeze a couple of years ago; right around when my niece Summer was born. Got her a copy of the book just cos one of the character shares her name - can't wait till she's old enough to read it!

Watch out for DL's Blog Blitz!

"Sign up on the linky list below, making sure to record your email address, and you’ll instantly become a member of the Blog Blitz Team. Then from time to time, I will select a deserving blog (that must be part of the Blitz Team) and a specific date. I will then email the team members that information and on that date we all will go out of our way to visit that blog and leave an encouraging comment on their most recent post. I'm talking about hopefully a 100+ comments appearing out of the blue in one day!"

DABWAHA voting starts tomorrow! I was confused by this award at first, but it's all spelled out here. Vote for your favourite romance books!

Do you think spring might be coming? I hope it's soon... We're still living in winter wonderland over here:

Not nighttime - this is early in the morning!

Another, prettier, morning. Canada flag way in the background on the left!

Well, okay, it was still cold

View from a friend's apartment, over the St Lawrence River!

All that ice...

Trees are still bare...

They do keep the river open for shipping, though.
Back in the day, you used to be able to sled across it!

Huddling car...

Almost looks like the trees during the 1998 ice storm...

White sky - more snow on the way

It might be clearing up... Nah, maybe not

Waiting on a train

Ice and snow

Ye Olde Train Station Sign

Poor tree, weighted by snow...

Of course, while it's still cold, it's a good time to stay indoors and edit! Which is what I've been doing. Only one week left in this round of ROW80! Then for the next one, I'll start entering all the changes I made - yet again - on paper to Druid's Moon.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Hi Deniz .. I loved the Matta and Craz Book Trailer .. fun - then your snow pics - I'm now feeling cold, but our brief spell of sun has gone in.

Those photos look cold .. very cold - our trees and blossoms are starting to come out .. the longer days help.

Cheers Hilary

Silverman always has such awesome books.

We still have winter here in the Rockies, too. *sigh* Come on spring!

Your snow is beautiful. It's been warm here, we haven't even needed a jacket.
What gorgeous snow photos. We had snow here yesterday too. I need a new car! Mine is terrible in the snow.

Happy Spring.

I love your idea to support one another. I'm joining!
It looks beautiful! We didn't get much snow this year, although it's been a really cold season.

I'm signed up for the blog blitz and I love your photos. I grew up in Buffalo, so get winter wonderland. Now I live in Central Oregon. It snowed in June last year...

Still getting snow flurries in Scotland, though I suspect not as cold as where you are. Your shots are beautiful! I'll sign up for the blog blitz. DL is always dreaming up great ways to build the community.

You can keep your snow. Hope it warms up for you soon! :)

Gorgeous snow pics but you can keep it. It's BRRRR time for me when the temp drops below 40 degrees now. Snow and ice are pretty to look at, but a royal pain to live in for any length of time.

Snow! All we've had is a few flurries this winter. Though, unlike my teaching days, I'm not as crazy about it now.

And thanks for the Blog Blitz info. ; )

I miss snow. It barely gets cold where I am.

I joined the Blog Blitz.

I read one of the Milo books. It was great.

Thanks for coming by Hilary! The wind is still cold, but I think overall it's finally warming up...

Can;t wait to see what happens with the blog blitz, Gwen!

I miss walking outside without thinking about layering, Sara!

Hey, we just got a new car, Theresa! I've never owned a brand new car before. Feels almost too luxurious...

Alex, M, it's fun to hear about different places - we're all scattered so wide!

Wish I was visiting Scotland this spring, Nick, like I did last spring!

Thanks, Lara :-) The snow *is* pretty, Jo, but yea, I'm kinda tired of the cold...

I don't see why office people don't get snow days, Zan Marie, the way schools do. *harumph*

I think so too, Medeia!
