P is for... Promoting Others

Back in 2011, I held a week-long contest to celebrate the fact that I'd reached my 500th post, after nearly four years of blogging.
At the time, I sorted many of my previous posts into groups, which made for easy referencing, especially of story material.

(Also because I've never tagged my posts!)

When I celebrated reaching my 1000th post during last year's A to Z Challenge there wasn't time to sort all the posts between 2011 and 2016.

What better time than now?

I’m actually going to go over 1,000, and collate all posts to the end of 2016! And I’m going to link to every single post (except for the A to Z posts, which are mostly summarized), something I didn’t do in my original 500 compilation, or even in my 900th post compilation.

I’ve got lots of fun themes coming up for each day -- and each day will also highlight a fellow blogger or two!

Today is...

Promoting others!

Meanwhile, even with the A to Z Challenge going on, I've managed to keep up with my ROW80 goals! I'm making changes to Druid's Moon based on some beta feedback -- and slowly, slowly drafting a synopsis!

Which fellow authors and bloggers have you enjoyed featuring on your blog?

Hi Deniz. It's a good feeling to promote other authors, isn't it? I've recently featured Theresa Milstein and am looking forward to featuring Yolanda Renee with her new thriller in early May.
Hi Deniz - it's great you are promoting Mary - her Backworlds series sounds so interesting and her knowledge of space is pretty good too! Well done on all the promotions you've had going on ... and congratulations on keeping up with your ROW80 goals.

I haven't featured many bloggers - as I tend to write as I write - I expect in due course I'll adjust this aspect .. though I mention other bloggers and link over on occasions ...

Cheers Hilary

That's an awesome theme for the day. Btw, when did you update your blog's look, and more importantly, how did I miss it until now? Nice.
Hey, there's my name! Awesome.
I'd much rather promote others than myself.

I like the new look around here Deniz. Yes, it is much fun to promote other authors.
Love the new layout, Deniz, and the theme for this post! What a lovely thing to do for your fellow writers.
Most recently, I think, I featured Nikki Starr and Feline Dreamers, and a new release by Fallon Brown, which I beta'd.

I have a blog on my site called The ReBlog, where I plan to share with permission...but I've stalled out on it in my Creative Chaos Marathon and my Accomplice's business launch.

I hope to get back to that this summer and fall, though.

I will be coming back to read more of your posts - it's a fascinating idea!
