It's Time for This Year's A to Z Challenge Theme Reveal!

A

fter a break of four years, from 2018 to 2021,

I’m doing the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge again this year!

In 2017, I collated all my blog posts up till then

In 2016, I focused on JRR Tolkien and the Inklings

In 2015, I featured books I’d read based on a reading challenge

In 2014, I didn’t have a theme!

In 2013, I collated all my Twitter favourites up till then
(it was a LOT easier to organize Twitter back then)

In 2012, I listed all my favourite books

Then, in 2022, I focused on fellow authors and bloggers, covering all the guest posts, blog hops, cover reveals, interviews, and more, that I’ve featured over the years.

This year I’m going to focus on writing by me and my family!
Please share links to your own stories and crafts in the comments!

Thank you to the team!

Also, each day will feature a new chapter from my new story, Goldenheart, a love story set in Montreal. There will be photos!

And now...

An ROW80 update!

1. Larksong: I need to finish entering all the edits on paper and finish research [haven't done this yet]

2. A Stitch in Time: I need to edit this thing because... [haven't done this yet]

3. A Stitch in Time Outtake: I need to finish drafting this, so I can possibly issue both stories together! [one scene edited]

4. Montreal: This story is complete, at 104,000 words. It's called Goldenheart and I'm hoping to start sharing it as part of the A to Z [I've also got about 5,000 words each across two shiny new ideas!]

5. The Flight of Time: It's ready to go! I just need to finish the synopsis! [I need to cut about 1,000 words]

Somewhere in there, I also wrote a second short story; links to both of them are available on my new ko-fi page (yes, I'm set up to receive donations, but any and all amounts received will go back to supporting other creators!)!

What stories or crafts are you busy with?

Will you be taking part in the A to Z?

Comments

That ought to be fun.
Hi Deniz - no, I won't be taking part ... but I'll be around. It'll be fun to read your entries - cheers and enjoy the A-Z - Hilary

I always look forward to April, and I'll certainly be checking out your posts.
Ooh... one of these years I really do want to do an A-to-Z (this is not the year, but... maybe I can prep for next year some). Your month looks fun! I'll be peeking in.

I see some serious ROW80 progress too on those ROW80 goals. Woohoo!

I was thinking of it this year but have had to reign back my ambitions a bit - not as fit as I thought I could be and I would be overdoing things but I miss doing the challenge so hopefully will be back next year. look forward to reading some of the blogs - such an eclectic bunch of bloggers:)

Looking forward to more posts sharing your story. I think that's such a fun way to do the challenge.
It's April, so I'm focused on the #AtoZChallenge.
Proof of Existence, book two in my dark urban fantasy series, is out this month. Very exciting.
