Magic! Ireland Photos 7/8

G

ood morning on our last day in Ireland!

We visited a magic road today -- when you're on a particular stretch of this road, if you put the car in neutral, the car rolls uphill. It even accelerates! A truly amazing sensation.

We also bought a puzzle...then discovered a second puzzle had been added to our bag as a gift!

Lunch in Kilmacthomas, where I discovered the yumminess of a blaa. And we revised our list of Counties of Ireland from Memory, because we'd forgotten one!

We missed out on Polish doughnuts though, they were all sold out!

Have you experienced natural magic?

I'm going to have to see if I can find some Writer's Tears Irish Whiskey!

Just looked it up, it is available here in VA, from $35 (copper pot) to $75 (red)

Ooh, the copper pot isn't so bad! I've never had the fancier version...
Great collection of authentic pictures. I love those.

Incredible (and some mouth-watering 🤤) pictures. I like the "notes" or whatever on the menu. 🍺 Seems like it's time for a drink.

Hi Deniz - you certainly saw lots of southern Ireland ... I loved the stone wall / hedge - but couldn't quite make out what it was. The blaas are an interesting find ... specialities from Waterford, I'd get Baps here - but they're from Scotland, albeit sold all over the UK. Fun - great times you had - and that puzzle x 2 ... special - cheers Hilary
