ur Flag Means Death I mean, hello ! You know that feeling when you fall down a new rabbit hole? That's my mind at the moment, having watched Our Flag Means Death and read some of the fiction based on the characters... That is a very mild way of putting it. I've been weeping over this story: PiƱa coladas ; Devouring all the Claire Gregory stories ; And going crazy over some of the fan art. Here's a lovely one, one of the first I saw: Soft here, too by cache Meanwhile, NaNoWriMo ! The Flight of Time is complete! This was my best NaNo ever. I reached 50k about two weeks in, I didn't have to struggle to meet the end of the month (adding in all my notes and speculations just to meet the word count), and I finished the entire novel before the end of the month (without leaving the ending or the epilogue for my future self to resolve)! I wrote this Look Back questionnaire 14 years ago and stumbled across it the other day when trying to see if I had shared photos of our trip to Turkey in 2008 on the blog (sadly not. We went to Safranbolu, Karabük, and Ankara, among other places, and none of the photos are on here!). I've shared the original below, with my updated comments in square brackets. And instead of older photos, I have more recent ones! 1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before? Went on a road trip through Pennsylvania, New York State, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky (Hi Jenny!) and Ohio. And visited Toronto for the first time. For about five hours. Also visiting parts of Turkey I hadn't been to before: Ankara, Karabuk, Safranbolu, Kastamonu. [In 2022, I visited Barcelona , Stockholm , and Scarborough for the first time! And Druid's Moon was published and I went on a blog book tour! Also, ...
