I've also downloaded the Merlin app and I've been learning a bit more about the birds in our neighbourhood!

My favourite remains the wood pigeon (which I was accidentally calling a turtledove all this time!)

Hi Deniz - fun photos ... love the black-currants which is what they look like, but usually a bunch of fruit ... don't know!!! I love the blackbirds, the cuckoo (which don't hear any more down here), I dislike the seagulls and the magpies ... but they must live and I enjoy them wheeling around or darting from one place to another. Happy rest of the summer - cheers Hilary
